Of course the makeover to ASCII is still needed to make sure it's not treading on any proprietary toes for it to be free/costy, but otherwise, it looks a lot better than other deals I've seen. It has me seriously thinking about this sort of thing for the first time ever, although I don't really know how viable these sorts of things have been in the past. It's the first one that's been public with all their terms... here's hoping they don't get swamped with garbage, and quality stuff helps make this a viable alternative to getting swallowed up by big companies, or being forgotten.

Still, going it alone means you don't lose that 30%, although the promotion you get might make up for it (assuming the initial price is worthwhile).
