I wonder if this bug was related somehow to previously fixed one where there was limit of objects on a floor/ground? Maybe it was similar situation?

Well, maybe not related. At least not with number of objects floating in space.

This time it was in Krank and there were few ships and two ejected pilot only (one at jump to Adavene and one at jump to Rynkel). After jumping from Adavene I encountered two Kilrathies (Gothri and Dralthi), one Pirate Talon and one unlucky Merchant in his Tarsus. Business as usual - disabling, boarding, stunning... unfortunately Dralthi was faster and Merchant lost his luck this time but was luck enough to eject from ship.

When I tried to scoop ejected pilot (Merchant) I realized that my ship is full - no place for cargo, no place for ejected pilots. I decided to disable Dralthi first but after docking I met "unlucky Merchant" but he was acting like some strange NPC from space port (while talking) and I wasn't able to switch positions with him... Hello, hitchhiker! This is my stunrod...! Unfortunately I had scooped ejected pilot from fixer's mission and he attacked me after I started to stun "unlucky Merchant clone" so I was forced to fail mission.

The bug occurs when ship is double full - both cargo and board space in "main hall/entry". And it looks that I can "scoop" ejected pilot's clone as many time as many attempts I'll do (regardless of game's messages about "insufficient free space"). I've had two "clones" this time because I tried two times to scoop him (second time after ejecting some cheaper cargo).

Oh! I made some tricks with replacing of captives and I managed to scoop that "unlucky Merchant" and then it worked as usual - thanks, spaceport, money.

During scooping I set speed to 10 (sometimes more means kill/destroy) and course set for ejected pilot and cargo. When I reached pilot suddenly my ship stuck! It wasn't moving at all! Well, at least there was no progress because ship was "jumping for- and backward" all the time. At a bottom of a screen informations were displayed with every jump informing that "There is no sufficient space for ejected pilot and cargo" (I forgot do record it). After some time I've increased speed to 20 and pilot was killed. Without nearby opponents I've landed on base.

When I described problem with jumping Pirate fleet they were trying to jump to Vortex Prime. It were 5 or 6 capital ships with escorts. One cap-ship with escort stayed in TC-101 so it means 4-5 jumped to Vortex Prime. When I was returning from Primeval 1 and encountered above bug with scooping ejected pilots there were already two big fleets - Pirates and Confeds, preparing for "clash of a titans." Including other ships at nav-points, ejected pilots and cargo containers it means there were many objects "floating in space". Maybe here is a problem... :?

BORING TEXT MODE ON

Today I've encountered really strange bug. My brand new Pegasus class ship called "Phoenix" became somehow a cloning machine. I don't know when o where but I think I shouldn't stick my gun in every ship... I mean boarding Pirate ships for loot and captives is highly addictive. Or maybe it was at Pirate base? I should be more cautious... :eeeee:

After bug with a big fleet I landed on Monroe base and then I went to Aeolus in Primeval 2. During voyage I was boarding, capturing and looting Pirates - business as usual. Then I started to Astra and Vortex Prime.

When I reached Vortex Prime my cargo hold was almost full but system was under Pirate control and their ships were full of cargo so I quickly became full (I was forced to jettison some cheaper cargo to hold valuable one; excluding drugs, I'm not doing drugs).

Before I reached Hooper's Hope flying on afterburner I've met 4 or 5 more pirates. Without free cargo space and especially without EMP Torpedoes I just destroyed them. All of them dropped pilots and some cargo so I decided to jettison cheap one (like "Iron") to scoop e.g. Slaves.

BORING TEXT MODE OFF (A LITTLE)

ERROR BELOW

During scooping I set speed to 10 (sometimes more means kill/destroy) and course set for ejected pilot and cargo. When I reached pilot suddenly my ship stuck! It wasn't moving at all! Well, at least there was no progress because ship was "jumping for- and backward" all the time. At a bottom of a screen informations were displayed with every jump informing that "There is no sufficient space for ejected pilot and cargo" (I forgot do record it). After some time I've increased speed to 20 and pilot was killed. Without nearby opponents I've landed on base.

I've sold cargo, reequipped ship and decided to "clean board" by enslaving captives. After several enslavement I decided to drop equipment at storage room and my character stuck at "wall of clones". 23 NPCs. All equipped with Laser Rifle. All with different injuries (both for body part and degree). All named Maelle Dufour (see movie: [RS]). They were hostile but not aggressive - I was able to talk with but not able to switch position with them to reach storage room.

I recorded another movie with disabling. Boring like hell. Only one strange thing was that nobody attacked me. I mean "clones" were completely uncaring for fate of other "clones". Except I wasn't able to quit combat mode. Well, two or three of them was such "neutral" that at the and I was able to quit combat, attack, enslave and again quit combat while last two clones stood aside.

Really strange. Lucky for me it was profitable... :heh:
